چکیده

Early reperfusion therapy has proved beneficial in such infarctions. 2-4 The earlier the reperfusion, the greater the benefit, and the time to treatment is now considered to indicate the quality of care. These days, when thrombolytic treatment and percutaneous intervention are carried out so readily, it is important to remember that acute infarction is not the only cause of ST-segment elevation. The purpose of this review is to describe other conditions that mimic infarction and emphasize the electrocardiographic clues that can be used to differentiate them from true infarction.

بررسی تغییرات قطعه‌ی ST در روش 15 اشتقاقی در بیماران مبتلا به سندروم کرونری حاد

Background & Objective: Patients with ischemic heart disease classified to two major groups: patients with stable angina and patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Previous studies showed that posterior segment of left ventricle is a silent segment on ECG, and routine 12 leads electrocardiogram (ECG) is not sensitive for evaluation of posterior infarction. This study designed for evaluati...

The effect of oxygen inhalation on cardiac biomarkers in patients presenting with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infraction: A randomized clinical trial

Background: It is assumed giving oxygen to patients with acute myocardial infraction may increase the oxygenation of the ischemic tissue; however, the usefulness of oxygen in these patients has become a challenging topic. Thus, the present study aimed to determine the effect of oxygen inhalation on cardiac biomarkers in patients with acute myocardial infarction.    Methods: This randomized cli...

The relation of ST segment deviations in 12-lead conventional Electrocardiogram, right and posterior leadswith the site of oc-clusion in acute inferior myocardial infarction

Background :In addition to diagnosing the acute myocardial infarction (MI), stratifying high-risk patients and proper treatment strategies are important issues in managing patients complaining of chest pain and suspecting MI. Many studies have been conducted to predict the occlusion site by interpreting the ST segment deviations in Electrocardiogram (ECG).Additional posterior and right precor...
